Multi Cables Ear Warmer
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
I worked this ear warmer back in 2005 - or before. I decided to make some more, except I couldn't find my notes. 3 days later after multiple attempts I finally figured out what I did. This pattern is easy. You only work cables on 2 of the 8 rows. You can easily adjust the pattern to other weight yarns. Just adjust the needles and either add or delete 8 stitches. Remember patterns are guides - you are the ULTIMATE boss. Happy Knitting! Lis

White Pines Hat
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
My White Pines Hat Pattern updated and using our hand dyed SW Merino - Bulky yarn. This hat is among the warmest hat patterns as you have 3 layers of super soft bulky merino by your ears where you need the warmth the most.
Have fun creating your own in your favorite colors.

It is in Bulky yarn on large needles and quick to work up. When I was a kid my dad gave me a wooden box from Russia it had colorful Onion Domes burned onto the top of the lid. Years ago I used that as inspiration for a hat in Aran weight. I was looking at the box the other day and thought the pattern would be perfect for Bulky weight yarn....

Honey Comb Hat in Fingering
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
Love those "left overs". I had lots of leftovers from the Ahmic Lake Pullover sweaters I have been knitting. So what to do with the leftovers..... Here is one hat it is pattern 2200 - Honey Comb Hat in Fingering. It is available FREE with any Fingering yarn purchase or $5 if you happen to have a lot of "left overs" laying around. This hat in the hand dyed Vine only weights 1.5 oz. So you would be able to make multiple hats with 2 skeins. I used US size 1.5 (2.5 mm) & US size 2.5 (3 mm). As...
