HAPPY FALL!
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
I guess we are all slowly facing the fact that summer is over and we are getting into HAT SEASON. Just finished another Cable Brim Hat in our Silk/Merino/Sea Cell yarn. This yarn is considered Worsted, but I use the same Cable Brim Hat Pattern as I use for our DK weight yarn. Been doing a lot of colors and figured a NATURAL one would be a nice change. If you decide to make this hat and purchase the yarn for it, make sure to scroll down to select the FREE option, as our patterns are free with the purchase...

Textured Hat
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
Been meaning to work up a textured hat pattern, finally got around to it. I started with the Merino DK Singles, as I have several "leftover" balls laying around. I love my leftovers. I get tired of working stranded work, so figured this would be something different and fun to do. The sky is the limit, the possibilities are infinite. This hat "hugs" your head comfortably. Plus it can easily be adjusted to multiple head sizes, but adjusting the rib height or changing needle sizes. As always feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Stay cool!...

Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on

The Traditional Danish Sweaters were actually called Night Sweaters (shirts). Sleeves are 3/4 length. I cannot wait for some cooler temperatures to wear mine. The book gives a lot of different Star patterns from century old sweaters that Vivian studied at the Danish...

Mike's Textured Pull Over Pattern is finally available.
Posted by Lis Barsuglia-Madsen on
Mike's Textured Pull Over pattern is finally written and available. It is written for chest/bust size 36"-38" in our SW Merino - Fine Sport yarn, but you could use any Fine Sport weight yarn as long as you get the gauge. I have added instructions, so you easily could either add 4 1/2" or reduce 4 1/2" to the chest/bust size. I would need to write those sizes as separate patterns as it would be too confusing adding all into one pattern. I prefer to keep things simple. If you do not like ICord you could do another preferred bind...
