Pattern - Sheep Sweater - Eden or any DK weight yarns - 2402

The Pattern is written specifically for Hand Maiden's EDEN yarn, but you can use any DK weight yarn as long as you get close to gauge. 

Eden is amazingly soft with the fine merino, cashmere and nylon. You could wear this sweater next to skin. You are not going to want to take it off. The Yoke design will provide you with double strand at the upper chest where you need it the most.

It's ONLY written for Bust/Chest Size: 38-40 (97-102 cm) at this time, physical size is 42" (107 cm). There is 2-4" (5-10 cm) extra room.

You need: US Size 4(3.5mm) & 6 (4mm) Double Pointed Needles and

US Size 4 (3.5mm) & 6 (4mm) Circular Needles - 16" (40 cm), plus US Size US Size  6 (4mm) Circular Needle - 24" (60 cm), 32" (80 cm) & 40" (100 cm) for Yoke.

I use 2 x 16" (40 cm) US Size 6 (4mm) circular knitting needles for the sleeves.

If you knit your sleeves tighter than the rest of the sweater you may consider trying US Size 7 (4.5mm) for the sleeves.

2 Stitch Holders, waste yarn (enough to cast on 14 sts for each of the under arm stitches) & markers.

4 skeins of the main color of the Hand Maiden -  EDEN, plus 2 skeins in 2 contrasting colors for the design. 

Sweater size: (Physical finished size) 42” (107 cm) Bust/Chest, 18” (46 cm) sleeves, 23 1/2” (60 cm) sweater length center front, 24 1/2" (62 cm) center back, cast on edge till under arms 14" (36 cm), 9 1/2” (24 cm) under arms till collar, 14” (36 cm) upper arm diameter, 6” (15 cm) cuff diameter.

This Sheep Sweater is seamless worked top down, with optional iCord for collar, sleeve cuffs and bottom of sweater. Increases for the yoke is written in the Sheep Yoke  Pattern, plus in the written instructions. 3 sets of Short Rows in the back.
