(as long as you get close to gauge).

Materials:

NOTE: Tweedy Merino is a Light DK weight yarn,

normally I work this yarn on US Size 6 (4mm).

I wanted this sweater to be tighter.

MAIN COLOR:

MC - 5 skeins Tweedy Merino  - each skein approx. 232 yards (212m)/ 3.5 oz (100g)

I used approx. 1100 yards (1000 m) for the main color.

CONTRASTING COLORS: I used 3, you can use any number you prefer.

CC1 - White I used approx. 200 yards (217 m).

CC2 - Green I used approx. 120 yards (110 m).

CC3 - Brown I used approx. 50 yards (46 m) - you could use Green instead.

US Size 2.5 (3mm) & US Size 3 (3.25mm) DP (double pointed) Knitting Needles. for sleeves.

NOTE: I use my flyers or 1 or 2 x US Size 2.5 (3mm) & 3 (3.25mm) 16” (40cm) circular needles for the sleeves. I knit tighter when I work the sleeves. If you have the same issue you may wish to use a larger needle size for the sleeves.

US Size 2.5 (3mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 16” (40 cm) length for the collar & 24” (60 cm) or 32” (80 cm) for bottom edge border.

US Size 3 (3.25mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 24” (60 cm) length for the body,16” (40 cm) to cast on for collar if you decide to work the continental Cast On method, 32” (80 cm) & 40” (100 cm) & 60” (150 cm)

for the yoke - YOU MUST USE 60” (150cm) or 2 x 40” (100cm) for the design or it is not going to lay flat.

NOTE: You want to make sure your design is spread out. It is well worth your time to pay extra attention

to ensure you keep spreading the colorwork. Your sweater will not lay flat when completed otherwise.
