Pattern - Hat - Goat Hat - SW Merino - Bulky - 2413

I was asked to come up with a Goat Hat - so here's my first attempt.

The Pattern is written for the SW Merino - BULKY yarn. 

You could use any Bulky as long as you get close to gauge - you could change needle size for gauge or if you want a different size.

HAT SIZE: 20-22" around head & 16" bottom edge over crown of head to bottom edge covering the ears.

Pattern includes 2 "top" versions. Regular "beanie" and Tall. Instructions are written and also on the chart. 

NOTE: If you want a smaller version - use smaller needles. Like US Size 6 (4 mm) for bottom Border and US Size 9 (5.5 mm) for remainder of the hat.

You need: US Size 10 (6 mm) Double Pointed Needles and

US Size 7 (4.5 mm) Circular Needles - 16" length &

US Size 10 (6 mm) Circular Needles - 24" length

Do NOT use a shorter length or your hat will be too small.

2 skeins of the SW Merino - BULKY in 2 different colors or any BULKY weight yarn, as long as you get gauge.
