Pattern - Vest - Wishbone Vest - ANY DK Weight YARN - 502

I only have the Wishbone Vest written for Chest/Bust size 34"-36" at this time.

  MATERIALS:

4 skeins SW Merino 4 Ply - approx 3.5 oz/215 yards (860 yards) , or

4 skeins Merino DK Singles - approx. 4.35 oz/270 yards (925 yards) , or

ANY Sport or Light DK Weight Yarns as long as you get gauge.

US Size 8 (5 mm) Knitting Needles - your choice.  Buttons Optional.

Note: Being lace - Wishbone Vest will “grow” by approx. 10-11%, 

when you wash it. 

Gauge in Wishbone Pattern: 

Before washing: 5 sts = 1” & 7 rows = 1”

After washing: 4.5 sts = 1” & 6.25 rows = 1”

Finished Size: 

Washed: approx. 36” Chest x 25” length  

Before wash: approx. 34” Chest  x 22” length

Entire Wishbone Vest is worked in one piece - shoulder seams are worked using the 3 needle bind off method for strength and stability.
