Pattern - Mittens 2401 - Fingerless Mittens in Slubby Mix

This Pattern is written for the Fleece Artist's Hand Dyed Slubby Mix yarn.

You can use any Bulky yarn as long as you get close to gauge.

Slubby Mix is 50% Blue Face Leicester & 50% Merino.

Each skein is approx. 4.4 oz (125g) & 109 yards (100m).

This yarn is super soft. It is a single stranded textured yarn - meaning it is spun thick and thin.

Pattern is for a short and a long version, both using 1 skein. I had approx. 1 oz left, if you choose to use smaller needles or add stitches to make these Fingerless Mittens wider you will need a second skein.

Mittens are written for a medium hand - 7" around and for the Long version 7" length & the Short version 6" length.

There are 2 bind off version - either in pattern or ICord. ICard makes these mittens extra warm where you need it the most.

You need: US Size 8 (5mm) & US Size 10 (6mm) Double Pointed Needles 6-8" long.

2 Stitch Holders & Markers.

1 skein of the Fleece Artist's - Slubby Mix.

Gauge before wash: 4 sts/1" & 5 rounds/1".

Gauge after wash: 3.5 sts/1" % 5 rounds/1".

WARNING:  If you wish to make these mittens larger in any way or use smaller needles you will need 2 skeins.
