Pattern - Hat - Cables - Bulky Hat 631

This hat is a perfect project for someone just starting out on cable knitting. It is a simple cable and a quick project. The pattern is written with 3 different versions: "Tall", "Average", and "Brim".

This Pattern was originally written for Bartlett's Bulky Yarn, but it also works for MVP Bulky, or any Bulky weight yarn as long as you get the gauge.

2 skeins Bulky or 3 skeins is enough for 2 hats.

Finished size: 22-23" around head &

16" bottom ear/ear over crown of head for Version 1 - Tall

15" bottom ear/ear over crown of head for Version 2 - Average

14 1/2 bottom ear/ear over crown of head for Version 3 - Brim

2 1/2 - 2 3/4 sts/1" on size 11 (8mm) needles.

You need: US Size 7 (4.5 mm) Circular Knitting Needles - 16" length, US Size 11 (8mm) Circular Knitting Needles - 16" length, and  US Size 11 (8mm) DP Knitting Needles. 

Cable Stitch Holder, and the one marker.
