Fine Organic Merino - FINGERING & Superfine Brushed Kid Mohair & Silk - Lace - held together as if it was 1 single strand.

Materials:
1 skein Fine Organic Merino - Fingering - each skein approx. 1120 yards (1030m)/ 8 oz (225g) & 2 skeins Superfine Kid & Silk - Lace - each skein approx. 900 yards (825m)/ 4 oz (113g).
or
3 skeins High Twist Fine Merino & Silk - Fingering - each skein approx.485 yards (450m)/ 3.5 oz (100g) & 2 skeins Superfine Kid & Silk - Lace - each skein approx. 900 yards (825m)/ 4 oz (113g).
US Size 4 (3.5mm) & US Size 6 (4mm) DP (double pointed) Knitting Needles for sleeves or 2 circular 16” (40 cm) Knitting Needles. I prefer using the 16” circular, as it eliminates ladders.
US Size 4 (3.5mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 16” (40 cm) length for the collar & 24” (60 cm) or 32” (80 cm) for bottom edge border.
US Size 6 (4mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 24” (60 cm) length for the body,16” (40 cm) to cast on for collar if you decide to work the Continental Cast On method, 32” (80 cm) or 40” (100 cm) for the yoke.
2 Stitch holders, Waste Yarn x 2 (enough to cast on 14 sts for under arms). plus a long section of waste yarn if you decide to work the ICord bind off method as described in OPTION 3 Step 1 Collar, Markers.
Gauge for Fine Organic Merino - FINGERING & Superfine Brushed Kid Mohair & Silk - Lace - held together: BEFORE WASH: 21 sts/4” & 28 rounds/4” on US Size 6 (4mm) Knitting Needle in stockinette.
AFTER WASH: 19 sts/4” & 24 rounds/4”. Check your gauge before knitting.
Gauge for High Twist Fine Merino & Silk - FINGERING & Superfine Brushed Kid Mohair & Silk - Lace - held together: BEFORE WASH: 22 sts/4” & 32 rounds/4” on US Size 6 (4mm) Knitting Needle in stockinette.
AFTER WASH: 20 sts/4” & 28 rounds/4”. Check your gauge before knitting.

Pattern: Instructions are for chest/bust size 41-43” (104-109cm) or 39-41” (99-104cm) depending on the fingering yarn and your gauge. ONLY 1 SIZE for each!
Super “Vams” Light Sweater is seamless worked top down. ICord collar, and sleeve cuffs are optional.
Please note the ICord does make for a firmer edge. You could bind off in pattern of your preference.
You will need extra skeins, if you plan on increasing the size of the Super ”Vams” Light Sweater.
I used approx. 1050 yards for size 41-43” version & 1150 for size 39-41” version.
This pattern is a guide, you may prefer traditional ribbing You are the boss. Nothing is carved in stone.
