Materials: 1 skein Tweedy Merino Light DK - approx. 3.5 oz (100g)/232 yards (212m)s or
1 skein 30% Yak/Silk/Merino Light DK - approx. 3.5 oz (100g)/243 yards (225m), or ANY Light DK Weight yarn, as long as you get gauge.
US Size 2.5 (3 mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 16” or 24” length &
US Size 4 (3.5 mm) Circular Knitting Needle - 16” or 24” length.
Marker, so you can keep track of your rounds.
Gauge in pattern on size 4 (3.5 mm) needles: 26.7 sts/4” & 16 rounds/4”
Each 10 stitch pattern section is approx. 1 1/2” wide and 2” tall.
This might help you in case you want to adjust the size of your Swirl Cowl
The Cowl Measures: 21” around and is 10” tall as written. You can easily adjust the size of your cowl to fit your preference. Please remember to have enough yarn before you start.
NOTE: I only had 6 yards left of my Tweedy Merino & 40 yards of my 30% yak.
The cowl did not change much after wash for both yarns. I placed my cowls carefully on a towel.
Do check your gauge before you start,.

Finished Size before & after wash: 10" Tall & 21" Around.
