Moss Stitch Scarf - Merino DK Single Ply - 031

This Pattern is written for the Merino DK Single Ply yarn.

Works best with a 2-3 color variegated with a good contrast.

You can also use our Fine Merino & Mulberry Silk, or DK 4ply Sock yarn or any DK weight yarn.

You need: US Size 8 (5 mm) Needles single point or circular your choice. 

Gauge in Moss Stitch Pattern (aka Seed stitch):

Before wash: 4 1/2 sts/1" & 7 rows/1"

Washed: 4.4 sts/1" & 6 rows/1"

Finished size:

Before wash: 6 1/4" x 40" 

Washed size: 6 1/2" x 50" - the stitches relax when washed.

2 skeins of the Merino DK Single Ply or any DK weight yarn.
